Larger than baby back loin ribs, spare ribs are the meaty ribs cut from the belly of the animal after the belly is removed. They are bigger, meatier and a little tougher than baby back ribs.
They are great for smoking, braising, grilling, or can be cooked in the oven. The ribs also take well to spice rubs and sauces.
Best for long, slow cooking, spare ribs require approximately 1.5 times longer cooking time than baby back ribs.
Note this product is dispatched frozen, defrost before cooking. Do not refreeze if allowed to thaw.
