Similar to Parmesan cheese and used in many of the same ways, although the flavour is milder than Parmesan due in part, to it’s younger age.
"Grana" means "grainy" in Italian. "Padano" from the production area in the "Pianura Padana" which is the Po River Valley in northern Italy.
Cut direct from the cheese wheel by hand and vacuum packed onsite. This cheese has been aged for 18 months.
